mixed experience
dull room ground floor noise
the breakfast was lovely.
the room felt dull. it was also dark and unwelcoming. the general noise on the ground floor felt more like a nightclub. the street outside is closed every evening. this made it impossible to get a taxi or uber.

The decor was stylish. Staff was attentive. Food was delicious. The jazz singer had a powerful voice that captivated everyone. I also got early check in which was really useful.

generous amenities stocked minibar luxurious bed spa day-pass unclear answer
the room was lovely and the cowshed amenities was generous. the minibar was well-stocked. the bed and pillows was squidgy and luxurious and i had a great night sleep.
it wasnt possible to book a spa day-pass in advance. the staff could only say it 'depends on the day'. this created stress, even though it worked out fine in the end.
